Ejada System Surpasses 60% Goals: What This Means for Business Efficiency in Oman
Muscat – The Government Communication Centre (GCC) hosted the third session of the "Communication Dialogue" this evening at the Ministry of Information Theatre in Muscat.
The session featured the Minister of Labour, who reported that the Ejada system has surpassed 60% of its objectives, benefiting from significant improvements and the addition of new features. Efforts are ongoing to further develop and modernize the system.
He noted that the "Individual Excellence" initiative has been implemented in 67 government agencies, with evaluations being conducted based on operational efficiency, leadership effectiveness, and employee satisfaction.
During the dialogue, the minister also emphasized the Ministry of Labour’s commitment to offering qualification programs and job opportunities for job seekers. He outlined ambitious initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and fostering a competitive, sustainable labor market.
The Ministry aims to create 45,000 job opportunities as part of the 2025 operational plan. This includes 11,000 training and qualification positions for job seekers, approximately 10,000 roles in the government sector, and 24,000 opportunities in the private sector.
Additionally, the Minister of Labour indicated that the draft Civil Service Law is currently in legislative stages, preparing for adoption in the upcoming phase.
