Inspire Oman Initiative Launched: How It Will Boost Investment Opportunities for Business Growth in Oman
Muscat: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) unveiled a new initiative, Inspire Oman, on Tuesday, aimed at enhancing the Sultanate’s investment climate and boosting its tourism potential.
The launch was led by Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the OCCI, alongside Saud bin Ahmed Al Nahari, Member of the OCCI Board of Directors; Abdul Latif Moideen Kunji, Board Member and Chairman of the Foreign Investment Committee; representatives from Mefriend; as well as business owners and entrepreneurs.
Inspire Oman is designed to celebrate the Sultanate’s business success stories, inspire future generations, and elevate Oman’s investment profile globally, in alignment with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
Abdulla Rowas told Oman Observer that the initiative will include a legacy publication titled Inspire Oman, a Global Digital Impression Campaign, and an international investors summit, conducted in a phased and strategic manner.
“This multi-layered initiative is founded on the strong belief that Omani success stories are crucial economic assets. Showcasing these achievements helps enhance Oman’s economic stature and reinforces investor confidence in the local business environment,” Rowas explained.
He emphasized that the OCCI views every successful project, entrepreneur, investor, and institution contributing to Oman’s development as integral parts of a narrative that deserves to be documented and shared globally. This narrative affirms Oman as an attractive business destination, a reliable investment partner, and an economy poised for continued growth and prosperity.
Abdul Latif Moideen Kunji added that Inspire Oman aims to present a comprehensive overview of the Sultanate’s investment environment by highlighting economic successes, inspiring entrepreneurial and investor stories, and introducing promising opportunities across diverse sectors.
“This initiative is grounded in the conviction that building a compelling national narrative reflecting Oman’s development and renaissance journey is vital for boosting investor confidence and enhancing the business climate,” Kunji stated.
Inspire Oman ultimately seeks to attract investment to Oman, thereby supporting the broader goals of Oman Vision 2040.
