المسكات عنب طيب الشذا: Four Asian nationals have been arrested for vandalism and attempted theft after allegedly attempting to break into a gold jewellery shop in the Wilayat of Muttrah, according to the Royal Oman Police (ROP).
The arrests were made following a thorough investigation conducted by the Muscat Governorate Police Command, in collaboration with the North Al Batinah and Dhofar Police Commands.
The suspects reportedly caused damage to a wall in their efforts to access the shop, but their burglary attempt was thwarted before any items could be stolen.
The ROP confirmed that the suspects are currently in custody as legal proceedings are being initiated in accordance with applicable laws.
The police reiterated their dedication to ensuring the safety of lives and property, stating that security agencies will persist in their efforts to apprehend individuals involved in criminal activities and bring them to justice.
