MUSCAT: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MoHT) has successfully completed a series of promotional workshops in India, featuring the participation of 25 Omani tourism entities and 150 Indian companies involved in outbound tourism. This initiative aimed to strengthen cooperation between Oman’s tourism sector and Indian travel companies, attract targeted tourist segments, and boost Oman’s visibility in one of its key international markets.

These workshops attracted leading Indian tourism companies and representatives from specialized media outlets, highlighting the increasing interest in Oman’s tourism offerings. Through detailed presentations by Omani tourism organizations, attendees were introduced to a wide array of tourism packages, services, facilities, and exclusive deals tailored specifically for the Indian market.

In addition to these presentations, numerous bilateral meetings were conducted to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration, integration, and partnerships across various tourism sectors. These discussions are expected to enhance Oman’s competitiveness and attract a higher number of visitors.

This promotional effort is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to organize focused events in strategic global markets. The campaign aims to draw diverse tourist segments, showcase Oman’s appealing tourism options, and gain a thorough understanding of market-specific preferences and expectations.
