Suhar Industrial City Welcomes Six New Projects: What This Means for Investment Opportunities and Business Growth in Oman
Suhar Industrial City, under the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), has recently secured six new projects with a combined investment exceeding RO 27 million. These projects will be developed across more than 162,000 square meters, covering sectors including oil, steel, food, marble, tile, and wood industries.
A major investment agreement was signed with the National Petrochemical and Investment Company to establish an oil industry project valued at RO 25 million on a 125,000-square-meter site. Additionally, two agreements were finalized in the steel sector: one with Sultan Al Shidi Engineering Projects, for a specialized steel industry project worth RO 1 million on 3,843 square meters, and another with Iron Trading and Investment for a steel industry project valued at RO 600,000 on 8,760 square meters.
Furthermore, Suhar Industrial City signed an agreement with Asas International to develop a marble and tiles project with an investment of RO 400,000 on 1,000 square meters. An investment agreement was also made with Al Rawdha International Business for a food industry project exceeding RO 150,000 on 2,688 square meters. Lastly, an agreement was signed with United Wooden Platform Company to establish a wood industry project with an investment of RO 150,000 on an 11,250-square-meter area.
