By year&#8217;s end, the total number of CRs in the governorate climbed to <strong>19,996<\/strong>, highlighting a sustained expansion across its economic landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Aziz bin Naseeb al Arimi, Director of the Department of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in North Al Sharqiyah, indicated that these positive indicators reflect increasing confidence among entrepreneurs and investors regarding the local business climate. He emphasized that the surge in registrations, along with robust performance in the construction sector, points to a growing development momentum across various wilayats.<\/p>\n<p>Al Arimi noted that continuing efforts to streamline regulatory processes, enhance digital services, and provide stronger support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are attracting higher-quality investments and contributing to sustainable economic development.<\/p>\n<p>At the wilayat level, Bidiyah led the way with <strong>531 CRs<\/strong> registered in 2025, followed by Ibra with <strong>298<\/strong>, Al Mudhaibi with <strong>289<\/strong>, Al Qabil with <strong>286<\/strong>, Sinaw with <strong>179<\/strong>, Wadi Bani Khalid with <strong>47<\/strong>, and Wadi Dima Wa\u2019tayeen with <strong>35<\/strong>. This distribution underscores a broad-based growth across the governorate, particularly in key population and commercial centers.<\/p>\n<p>However, the number of completed commercial licenses fell to <strong>11,050<\/strong> in 2025, down from <strong>13,447<\/strong> in 2024. Despite this decline, the cumulative total rose to <strong>34,865<\/strong> licenses.
