The restructuring aimed to establish the exchange as a commercially driven and globally connected financial institution supportive of Oman Vision 2040, economic diversification, and private-sector development.<\/p>\n<p>Mohammed bin Mahfoudh Al Ardhi, Chairman of MSX, emphasized that the transition has granted the exchange greater flexibility to accelerate strategic initiatives and enhance market competitiveness. \u201cThe progress achieved in recent years is evident not only in stronger market performance and increased market capitalization but also in creating a more sustainable ecosystem through improved confidence, efficiency, and expanded investment opportunities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past five years, MSX has implemented numerous structural, regulatory, and operational reforms to modernize the Omani market and align it with international standards.
