Visa-Free Entry for Omani Citizens to Armenia: What This Means for Business and Investment Opportunities

Muscat: Armenia has introduced a visa-free entry system for citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman. This policy permits them to enter and remain in Armenia for up to 180 days within a calendar year without requiring a visa. The measure has been in effect since July 1, 2025.

Additionally, the visa exemption extends to individuals holding valid residency permits from the United States, European Union member states, the Schengen Area, and GCC countries.

As a landlocked nation, Armenia is accessible by air and land. Overland access is primarily through Georgia, with most of Armenia’s border crossings operating around the clock.

For international travel, Armenia’s main route is a 10-hour overnight train journey from Yerevan Central Railway Station to Tbilisi.
