Muscat: An Indian couple tragically lost their lives following a partial collapse of a residential and commercial building in the Wilayat of Bawshar. The incident was triggered by an explosion caused by a cooking gas leak in a restaurant located within the structure.
V. Pankajakashan, 59, and his wife, Sajitha, 53, hailing from the South Indian state of Kerala, resided on the floor above the restaurant. They are survived by their daughter. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
