Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, officiated the launch of the Trump International Resort, a key component of the AIDA project located in Yiti. This ambitious development will feature more than 140 hotel units, suites, villas, residential apartments, and a golf course.
Present at the ceremony were Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice Presidents of the Trump Organization, along with a special recorded message from former U.S. President Donald Trump.
On Sunday, Dar Global awarded a contract worth OMR 9.3 million to Oman Shapoorji Company LLC for the infrastructure development of AIDA Phase 1. The project, a collaboration with Omran Group—Oman’s primary organization for tourism development—will integrate luxury, golf, residential, and hospitality features. Scheduled for completion in 2027, AIDA enjoys a prime seaside location at 130 meters above sea level, promising stunning ocean views and residences that blend seamlessly with the cliffside landscape.
The contract with Oman Shapoorji Company encompasses the design and construction of essential infrastructure, including roads, water and electricity networks, utility installations, drainage and sewage systems, as well as expanding the surrounding road network within AIDA. These developments will adhere to the highest technical standards, complementing the project’s luxurious offerings.
