Atlanta, July 5Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has advanced to the semi-finals of the FIFA Club World Cup, currently taking place in the United States, after defeating Bayern Munich (Germany) with a score of 2-0 in today’s quarter-final match held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Desiré Doué opened the scoring for PSG in the 78th minute. The team faced a tough situation with two consecutive red cards; Lian Batshuayi was sent off in the 82nd minute, followed shortly by Lucas Hernández, who received his red card in the second minute of stoppage time.

Despite being down to nine players, PSG increased their lead with a second goal from Ousmane Dembélé in the sixth minute of stoppage time, securing their spot in the next round.

PSG will face the winner of the match between Real Madrid (Spain) and Borussia Dortmund (Germany) in the semi-finals.
