MUSCAT: The Ministry of Economy has initiated the third workshop under the “National Circular Economy Project in the Sultanate of Oman,” convening experts, policymakers, and private sector representatives to accelerate the country’s shift towards a sustainable and resource-efficient economy.
The two-day workshop, which commenced on Tuesday, aims to review Oman’s circular economy roadmap, evaluate progress to date, and refine the key policies that will direct implementation in the coming years. Participants also analyzed baseline findings, gathered feedback from relevant authorities, and reviewed scenario modeling results that assess potential strategies and policy measures.
The event included a series of presentations showcasing ongoing circular economy initiatives across Oman, involving government bodies, private sector firms, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
