National Day Vehicle Decoration Guidelines: Key Insights for Businesses in Oman to Boost Festive Engagement
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued new regulations regarding the display of stickers and decorations on vehicles in honor of Oman’s 55th National Day, with the theme “Let’s celebrate safely.”
As per the Directorate General of Traffic, vehicle owners are permitted to use National Day stickers from November 5 to November 30, 2025, provided that all decorations adhere to safety regulations and do not hinder visibility.
The guidelines specify that stickers can only be affixed to the vehicle body or rear windshield, ensuring that they do not obstruct the driver’s line of sight. Moreover, stickers must be securely attached and relevant to the National Day theme. It is explicitly prohibited to place fabric decorations or stickers on the engine hood, alter the vehicle’s color or design, or apply stickers to the front or side windows.
The ROP has also emphasized the importance of ensuring that stickers convey appropriate and patriotic messages while maintaining road safety.
