SINOTRUK 2025 Global Partner Conference: What It Means for Business Growth and Investment Opportunities

SINOTRUK, the Leading Truck Manufacturer in the Middle East, Announces Ambitious Global Expansion Plans Targeting $1 Billion in Overseas Aftermarket Revenue

SINOTRUK, the Chinese state-owned producer of heavy-duty trucks, buses, and specialized vehicles, recently held its 2025 Global Partner Conference in Qingdao. The event brought together 620 partners from 97 countries and regions, including its subsidiary based in Muscat, Carmel Group. The conference focused on reinforcing collaborative efforts and unveiling the company’s strategy for its next stage of international growth.

Since entering the Omani market in 2007, SINOTRUK has established a strong presence with thousands of vehicles operating across the Sultanate. Its Muscat subsidiary oversees after-sales support and manages a large showroom, while partnerships with local entities have developed a comprehensive nationwide distribution and service network.

Globally, SINOTRUK continues to perform robustly, maintaining its position as the number one heavy truck manufacturer across the Middle East, South Asia, Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Notable market growth includes a 74 percent increase in sales in Saudi Arabia and a 98 percent surge in Australia. To strengthen its global presence, SINOTRUK has expanded its infrastructure to include 29 CKD plants, 226 dealerships, 246 service stations, and 217 parts supply centers worldwide.

The SINOTRUK Group comprises multiple subsidiaries and joint ventures that offer a diverse product range serving numerous industries. Its vehicles are now exported to over 110 countries, with major markets including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Vietnam, and Thailand.

Strong Performance in 2024–2025

The conference featured strategic discussions and an extensive product exhibition. SINOTRUK reported impressive results for the first nine months of the year, with total vehicle sales reaching 335,000 units — a 22.8 percent year-on-year increase. Heavy truck exports rose by 24.5 percent to 111,000 units. Emerging business lines such as new energy vehicles, light trucks, mining trucks, and aftermarket parts also showed significant growth, indicating balanced progress across both traditional and new sectors.

To support its expanding clientele, SINOTRUK has developed an international service network comprising over 700 outlets and more than 40 training centers.

Future Strategy and Growth Objectives

Chairman Liu Zhengtao reaffirmed the company’s commitment to five transformation pillars: sustainability, digital intelligence, service excellence, global expansion, and business diversification. He emphasized SINOTRUK’s ongoing collaboration with international partners to deliver superior products, advanced technologies, and dependable support.

Looking ahead, internationalization remains a strategic priority. By 2030, SINOTRUK aims to export 250,000 heavy trucks, 100,000 light trucks, 50,000 light vehicles, and 3,000 mining trucks, while targeting $1 billion in overseas aftermarket revenue.

Innovation Highlighted

The product showcase featured 24 vehicles across logistics, construction, new energy, and light-duty sectors. Notably, the C9H tractor was the first in its class to achieve EU WVTA certification, reflecting its advanced technology and enhanced standards in performance, safety, and environmental impact.

Within construction, upgraded dump trucks demonstrated greater adaptability to varied terrains. The mining truck range covers 30 to 135 tonnes, available in diesel and all-electric models. The new energy lineup includes pure electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel, plug-in hybrids, and range-extended models. Light-duty options such as pickups and vans were also presented.

Digital fleet management tools and AI-driven diagnostic systems were introduced, designed to lower operating costs, boost safety, and improve fleet efficiency.

Honoring Global Partners

The conference concluded with the presentation of the 2025 Outstanding Service Award, Outstanding Marketing Award, and Notable Contribution Award. Winners received SINOTRUK pickup trucks, underscoring the company’s gratitude for its key global partners.

SINOTRUK affirmed its commitment to continued growth alongside its international partners, delivering high-quality heavy truck solutions globally and embarking on a new chapter of worldwide expansion.
