MUSCAT: By the end of November 2025, total domestic natural gas production, inclusive of imports, reached approximately 52.14 billion cubic metres, marking a 0.6% increase compared to the same period in 2024, when production was 51.83 billion cubic metres. Notably, associated gas production experienced a significant rise of 11%, reaching 11.74 billion cubic metres. Conversely, the production of non-associated gas—encompassing imports—declined by 2.1%, totaling 40.40 billion cubic metres, as reported by official sources.
According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information, overall natural gas consumption also saw a 0.6% increase, reaching 52.14 billion cubic metres by the end of November 2025.
