MUSCAT – OQ Group officially welcomed 130 graduates to its 2026 Graduate Development Programme during a ceremony held on Wednesday. The event took place under the patronage of Said bin Abdullah al Balushi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, at the Oman Institute for Energy.
Highlighting the Ministry’s commitment, Al Balushi emphasized the focus on equipping Omani youth with the qualifications and training necessary to meet evolving labor market demands. He noted the Ministry’s ongoing efforts through various initiatives and collaboration with government entities and private sector companies.
This new intake marks a significant milestone in the strategic partnership established between OQ and the Ministry of Labour in October 2025. The cooperation aims to foster sustainable employment and enhance national capacity through a strong public-private collaboration.
The initiative is designed to create 600 job opportunities for graduates and job seekers in areas aligned with OQ’s business objectives and future expansion. It seeks to develop a sustainable workforce pipeline by integrating education, employability, and long-term career advancement, thereby supporting national workforce priorities through structured and employment-linked talent pathways.
