Oman Perfume Expo Launches with 200+ Brands: Opportunities for Investors and Entrepreneurs in the Fragrance Market
MUSCAT: The sixth edition of the Oman Perfume Exhibition officially opened today at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, featuring over 200 exhibitors from local, regional, and international markets. This event underscores Oman’s expanding influence in the global perfume industry.
The inauguration took place under the patronage of HH Sayyida Basma bint Fakhri bin Taimur al Said. Running until January 28, the exhibition showcases the robust growth in Oman’s perfume and luxury goods sector, driven by increasing demand for high-end products and the arrival of international brands.
Designed as a specialized marketing and investment platform, the exhibition aims to promote business and shopping tourism by attracting international visitors and delegations. This influx is expected to boost hotel occupancy and stimulate activity within the hospitality, services, and restaurant industries.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discover exclusive product launches and signature fragrances, offering an immersive experience that fuses heritage with contemporary design and innovation. The event serves as a vibrant hub for perfume enthusiasts, luxury consumers, retail professionals, and commercial buyers, enhancing the intersection of commerce, culture, and perfumery.
This year’s edition also introduces a new visual identity inspired by Oman’s rich heritage and its historical connections to scents and aromatics. Celebrating Oman’s legacy as the "Land of Perfumes," the identity emphasizes the significance of the frankincense trade, the famous roses from Al Jabal Al Akhdhar, and ancient aromatic trade routes.
The exhibition features notable regional perfume houses, prominent international brands, and industry experts. Newcomers include Saudi brands Laverne and Assaf, influencer Noor Stars’ brand Nafas, and Indian brand Naqwa, joining established names such as Deraah, Ibn Sheikhan, and Ghazali. Fintech company QPay is also among the participants, reflecting the diverse range of exhibitors.
Last year, the exhibition attracted over 30,000 visitors, highlighting its increasing popularity and significant commercial impact. — ONA
