London, July 7 – Serbian Novak Djokovic, the world’s sixth-ranked player and seven-time Wimbledon champion, has advanced to the quarterfinals of the current tournament. He defeated Australian Alex de Minaur, ranked 11th in the world, in four sets with scores of 1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. The match lasted three hours and 19 minutes.

In the next round, Djokovic will face Italian Flavio Cobolli, who also secured a crucial victory over Croatian Marin Cilic, the runner-up from 2017, with a score of 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, 7-6. This match extended for three hours and 25 minutes.

This marks Cobolli’s first time reaching the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam tournament in his professional career.
