MUSCAT: The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) has introduced five specialised training programmes designed to enhance private sector capabilities and improve performance across critical economic sectors.
Starting Sunday, these initiatives will focus on industry, tourism, agriculture, logistics, and mining. They align with OCCI’s broader strategy to foster a better business environment, promote economic diversification, and support development throughout Oman’s governorates in accordance with Oman Vision 2040.
The training programmes include Industrial Excellence and Export, Sustainable National Tourism Leadership, Model Farm Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Efficient and Sustainable Mining Project Management. They aim to provide business owners with both practical and theoretical knowledge through structured training sessions, field visits, and applied project work, ultimately boosting competitiveness and institutional effectiveness.
Faisal bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of OCCI, highlighted that this initiative demonstrates the Chamber’s commitment to empowering the private sector as a key partner in sustainable economic development.
