Oman Achieves Major Investment Milestones Under Vision 2040: Key Opportunities for Investors and Entrepreneurs
Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has demonstrated significant progress, as highlighted in the Oman Vision 2040 Report for 2024–2025, solidifying Oman’s status as a compelling global investment destination.
The report reveals that total foreign investments in the manufacturing sector reached RO 2.489 billion by the end of 2024, underscoring sustained investor confidence and the ministry’s commitment to nurturing a competitive and diversified economy.
By mid-2025, the MoCIIP facilitated 43 investment projects through the Invest Oman Lounge, with a combined value exceeding RO 2.251 billion. Furthermore, the ministry advanced the Investment Opportunities Map on the Invest Oman platform, offering investors a detailed overview of promising opportunities across key economic sectors.
Supporting national goals, a Royal Decree (25/2025) was issued to establish the Investment and Commerce Court and introduce the Unified Promotional Identity. These measures bolster the legal and promotional frameworks essential for business growth.
The launch of the Unified Promotional Identity aims to unify Oman’s image as a seamless investment destination, while the Rapid Response Team Initiative was created to resolve investment-related challenges swiftly and improve the ease of doing business.
Through these strategic initiatives, the MoCIIP continues to enhance Oman’s competitiveness, attract high-quality investments, and drive progress toward the objectives set forth in Oman Vision 2040.
