The partnership highlights OMRAN Group’s dedication to promoting sustainability and encouraging data-driven decision-making within the international tourism sector. As part of this collaboration, OMRAN Group played a key role in launching the Environmental & Social Impact Data Index at the recent WTTC Global Summit held in Rome.

The Global Summit, which brought together CEOs and decision-makers from the world’s top travel and tourism organizations, was the platform for unveiling this innovative index. The tool is designed to measure, benchmark, and advance the sector’s environmental and social impact.

The CEO emphasized that the partnership with WTTC marks a critical milestone in OMRAN Group’s mission to embed sustainability, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, and In-Country Value at the heart of tourism development. By leveraging data-driven insights and fostering international collaboration, OMRAN Group is advancing the creation of destinations that empower local communities, celebrate cultural heritage, and protect the environment.

The launch of the Environmental & Social Impact Data Index signifies a major step toward enhanced transparency and accountability, ensuring the tourism sector delivers meaningful and measurable economic, social, and environmental benefits.
