Tender Announced for Fishery Industries City in South Al Sharqiyah: What Investors and Entrepreneurs Need to Know

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources has announced a tender for consultancy services to undertake the detailed design and construction supervision of the Fishery Industries City in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

This initiative is a key strategic project aimed at developing advanced infrastructure to support the growth of Oman’s fishery industries and enhance the sector’s added value. It seeks to strengthen the fishery industries system and supply chains, attract both local and foreign investment, and implement sustainable solutions to protect the marine environment, contributing to the development of a sustainable blue economy.

The ministry has invited qualified companies, registered in projects and tenders and approved by the local content authority, to submit their bids via the eTendering platform at https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.om.

The deadline for tender submissions has been extended to Wednesday, November 9, 2025, with bids scheduled to be opened on December 11, 2025.
