The creation of nearly 13,000 jobs within the first half of the year, with a strong emphasis on the private sector, signals growing opportunities for Omani workforce integration and private sector expansion. However, with only 38% of annual targets met and a modest training completion rate of 39%, businesses and investors should prioritize workforce development and skill enhancement to fully capitalize on emerging labor market potential. Smart entrepreneurs and policymakers must leverage this gap by investing in targeted training programs and scalable employment solutions to drive sustainable economic growth.
