MUSCAT: The Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences welcomed a new cohort of recruits holding the General Education Diploma (GED) certificate on Tuesday. These individuals have commenced their training in preparation for their service with the Royal Oman Police (ROP).

The recruits were selected after successfully completing a rigorous evaluation process conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Labour. They are now undergoing training at the Police Institute for New Recruits, which is part of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.

Throughout the training programme, the recruits will develop essential police skills, legal knowledge, and academic foundations. Additionally, the curriculum includes specialized courses designed to prepare them to effectively manage various security situations.
