Muscat: The Royal Army of Oman (RAO) has commenced the evaluation and acceptance process for new recruits holding a General Education Diploma, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, starting Sunday. Candidates will undergo assessments in line with the Royal Army of Oman’s established recruitment procedures.

This initiative, led by the Ministry of Defence and the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), forms part of ongoing plans to enlist Omani citizens into the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other branches within the Ministry of Defence. These efforts aim to strengthen service to the nation and support the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
