MUSCAT: Dar Global, a luxury real estate developer listed in London, has announced the awarding of the main construction contract for the villas in the first phase of AIDA, a significant urban development project in Oman. This achievement highlights Dar Global’s ambition to create a premier real estate destination in the country, collaborating with esteemed partners to deliver unparalleled luxury and value.
AIDA is a joint venture with the Omran Group, Oman’s foremost organization for tourism development. The project blends luxury golf, residential, and hospitality features. Scheduled for completion of its first phase in 2027, AIDA is strategically positioned by the sea, at an elevation of 130 meters above sea level, providing stunning sea views that integrate with the cliffside landscape.
The main construction contract for Phase 1 villas has been awarded to Towell Construction & Co LLC, valued at RO 14,242,810. Towell Construction will manage the building of the townhouses and villas, ensuring high-quality standards and meticulous attention to detail.
Additionally, the contract for the infrastructure work for AIDA’s first phase has been awarded to Oman Shapoorji Company LLC. With a contract value of RO 9,345,653, this agreement covers the design and construction of essential infrastructure, including roads, water and electricity networks, utility installations, drainage, and sewage systems. These developments are designed to meet optimal technical standards, complementing AIDA’s luxury offerings and supporting its planned residential and commercial areas.
