Muscat: The Dhahirah Governorate Police have apprehended an Arab national for altering the characteristics of a vehicle he rented from a Gulf country. Upon entering the Sultanate of Oman, he replaced the original license plate in a bid to conceal the vehicle’s identity.
According to police reports, the suspect unlawfully took possession of the vehicle with the intent to deceive security authorities prior to disposing of it. Legal proceedings against him are currently underway.
