Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has apprehended two individuals in separate operations for possessing significant amounts of narcotics intended for trafficking.
In the first incident, the Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances at the North Al Batinah Police Command arrested an Asian national in the Wilayat of Suhar. Authorities reported that the suspect was in possession of a substantial quantity of marijuana and morphine. Legal proceedings against him are currently underway.
In another operation, the General Directorate for Drug Control and Psychotropic Substances arrested an Arab national in the Wilayat of Bausher after closely monitoring his activities. He was found with crystal meth, marijuana, and psychotropic pills, all intended for trafficking.
