Muscat: Authorities in Musandam Governorate have apprehended two Asian nationals in the Wilayat of Daba on charges of possession and attempted smuggling of hashish intended for trafficking. The arrests were executed by the Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, part of the Musandam Governorate Police Command.
The Royal Oman Police reported that the suspects were discovered with hashish concealed within vehicle tires. This method of concealment suggests a clear intent to distribute the narcotics.
