The Coast Guard Police, in collaboration with the Musandam Governorate Police and the Musandam Naval Base, apprehended 21 Asian nationals attempting to illegally enter the country in the Wilayat of Khasab. Legal proceedings are currently underway against these individuals.

In a separate incident, the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, under the leadership of the South al Sharqiyah Governorate Police, arrested four Asian nationals attempting to smuggle over 41 kilograms of crystal meth in the Wilayat of Sur.
