His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, received a warm message of greeting from Lt Gen Hasan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, on the occasion of Royal Oman Police (ROP) Day, celebrated annually on January 5.
In his message, Lt Gen Al Shraiqi conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the nation’s leader and expressed deep gratitude for the support His Majesty provides to the Royal Oman Police and its dedicated personnel. The Royal Oman Police marked its Annual Day with a ceremony held at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences in Nizwa, overseen by Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council. During the event, His Majesty conferred several prestigious awards, including the Medals of Royal Commendation, Excellent Service, and Proficiency, to senior officers from the Royal Oman Police and the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA).
Shaikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah al Khalili presented these medals and expressed his congratulations to the honorees, emphasizing the recognition of their continuous efforts to advance the nation under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
