This advisory follows a recent fatal incident in Dhofar’s Wilayat of Mirbat, where a tourist tragically lost their life in a mountain climbing accident. Rescue and ambulance teams from the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, aided by local residents, responded promptly after the tourist slipped while climbing a steep slope at Jabal Samhan. The fall caused severe injuries, resulting in the tourist’s death at the scene.
