Friday, a day after West Texas Intermediate crude prices surged over 11 percent to $111.54 per barrel, and Brent crude rose 7.8 percent to $109.03 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p>Daiwa Securities remarked that, \u201cWhile market movements continue to be heavily influenced by news flow regarding the situation in the Middle East, the rise in US tech stocks is providing buyers with a sense of relief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tokai Tokyo Securities commented, \u201cTokyo shares are expected to trend higher, but volatility is also anticipated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Online brokerage Monex noted that investors might adopt a cautious, wait-and-see approach in the afternoon, especially with US jobs data scheduled for release later on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Investor caution remained high as President Trump\u2019s speech offered no clear timeline for ending the conflict with Iran. In his address, Trump threatened to bomb Iran \u201cback to the Stone Ages,\u201d yet did not outline any plans to reopen the Strait of Hormuz\u2014a crucial shipping route through which about one-fifth of the world\u2019s oil and gas flows, currently blocked by Tehran.<\/p>\n<p>Takuma Ikemoto of the Tokai Tokyo Intelligence Lab observed, \u201cWhile the market had been hoping for a near end to the war, these remarks, leaving open the possibility of further fighting, sparked disappointment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In currency markets, the euro rose to $1.1539, the British pound edged up to
