However, despite the spike in energy prices, it is reportedly struggling to meet its production quotas amid the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Significant Impact of UAE&#8217;s Exit<\/strong><br \/>\nAmena Bakr, an analyst at Kpler, highlighted that the UAE&#8217;s departure is &quot;a big deal&quot; for OPEC, contrasting it with prior exits by Qatar in 2019 and Angola in 2023, which were less impactful. Being the fourth-largest producer in OPEC+ and possessing substantial untapped production capacity, the UAE&#8217;s exit alters the dynamics needed for effective market regulation.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The UAE has raised concerns regarding its quotas dating as far back as 2021,&quot; Bakr noted, emphasizing the nation&#8217;s significant investments in infrastructure.
