They are equipped with advanced vehicles, equipment, and operational machinery designed to enhance response capabilities and readiness for various emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>These efforts are coordinated with forward response points activated along major roads leading to Dhofar during the peak tourist period to minimize response times and deliver immediate emergency and rescue services to road users. New services introduced this year include a facility in Al Ashkharah in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, emergency medical services in Al Jazir in Al Wusta Governorate, and additional civil defence units in Shahb Asayb and Harit areas in Dhofar Governorate, as part of an expanded plan to improve field coverage and readiness.<\/p>\n<p>The Authority advises all Khareef visitors to prepare adequately by performing regular vehicle maintenance, ensuring fire extinguishers are functional, and carrying first aid kits. It also stresses the importance of adhering to speed limits, following traffic safety regulations, and familiarizing themselves with fuel station locations and rest stops along routes to Dhofar.<\/p>\n<p>Institutions, companies, property owners, and tourism facility operators are reminded to comply with fire safety regulations, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure the readiness of fire protection systems. The Authority confirmed it will maintain intensified inspection and monitoring campaigns throughout the season and will take legal action against violators.<\/p>\n<p>Public awareness initiatives will play a significant role this season through extensive media and educational campaigns.
