advancements in phase two of its sales, building on the complete sell-out of phase one earlier this year. This achievement represents a pivotal moment in The Sustainable City &#8211; Yiti\u2019s mission to promote sustainable living in Oman.<\/p>\n<p>The strong demand for eco-friendly communities underscores the project\u2019s alignment with Oman\u2019s Vision 2040. Developed by Diamond Developers, a division of SEE Holding, in collaboration with the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN), The Sustainable City &#8211; Yiti is setting a benchmark for sustainable community developments in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Situated along the coastline of the Oman Sea near Muscat, The Sustainable City &#8211; Yiti aims to become the largest operational sustainable community in the area and aspires to be the world\u2019s first net-zero-emission city by 2040. Encompassing nearly one million square meters, the project is designed to serve as a resilient, replicable model that prioritizes environmental stewardship, reduces emissions, enhances quality of life, fosters a green economy, and minimizes maintenance and operating costs.<\/p>\n<p>The design of The Sustainable City &#8211; Yiti revolves around six pillars of environmental sustainability: food, energy, water, products, mobility, and waste. The initiative aims to lower the per capita carbon footprint of its residents by 78% compared to traditional housing in Oman. It will operate on 100% renewable energy, implement full water recycling, divert 100% of waste from landfills, and achieve 80% self-sufficiency in food production.<\/p>\n<p>The newly launched phase two offers approximately 500 residential units, which include studios, one- to three-bedroom apartments, and three- to four-bedroom villas. This diverse offering caters to a variety of lifestyles while adhering to leading sustainability and eco-friendly standards. Following the successful sell-out of phase one, which featured 300 residential units, this strong interest from buyers\u2014especially Omani nationals, who represent 55% of the homeowners\u2014demonstrates the increasing commitment to sustainable living in the region. The other buyers hail from 29 different nationalities, with notable representation from Russia, North America, and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>Mahmoud Shehada, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at The Sustainable City &#8211; Yiti, remarked, \u201cThe robust sales of phase two, following the complete sell-out of phase one, clearly showcase the rising demand for sustainable living in Oman.
