Additionally, the digital infrastructure within these institutions now stands at <strong>86 percent readiness<\/strong>. Simplification efforts have streamlined procedures for <strong>96 percent of prioritized government services<\/strong>, including <strong>381 services<\/strong> refined in the Manjam laboratories dedicated to simplifying governmental processes.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, <strong>74 percent<\/strong> of these key services have been digitized. Between January and May 2025, <strong>48 government agencies<\/strong> completed over <strong>11.4 million digital transactions<\/strong>. Furthermore, <strong>33 advisory sessions<\/strong> focused on digital transformation have been conducted, and <strong>4,100 services<\/strong> have been documented in the digital guide for government services.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ali bin Amer Al-Shidhani, the Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology at the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, and Chairman of the Technical Committee for the Government Digital Transformation Program, emphasized that the results showcase the collective efforts and commitment of government institutions towards establishing a <strong>promising digital government<\/strong>. He commended the institutional synergy with the program\u2019s vision, which demonstrates an adeptness at navigating digital changes with purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Shidhani reiterated that the &quot;Transformation&quot; program will continue to enhance digital service efficiency, upgrade infrastructure, and digitize even more services, aligning with Oman\u2019s ambitious goals for a <strong>renewed renaissance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Noteworthy milestones from the National Government Digital Transformation Program (Tahawul) include the launch of a unified government services portal, which hosts <strong>23 services<\/strong> from various agencies. The portal attracted <strong>35,746 users<\/strong> and facilitated <strong>3,905 service requests<\/strong>. A visual library section has also been established in sign language to enhance accessibility for individuals with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The electronic payment gateway, <strong>OmanNet<\/strong>, is fully operational and has significantly increased electronic transaction volumes while mitigating fraud risks. During the first quarter of this year, <strong>14.5 million digital transactions<\/strong> were executed on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the electronic document and records management system <strong>&quot;Wusool&quot;<\/strong> has garnered over <strong>17,000 active users<\/strong>, with more than <strong>1.5 million documents<\/strong> created across <strong>20 government entities<\/strong>. The first half of 2025 saw approximately <strong>1.57 million digital transactions<\/strong> authenticated electronically, along with <strong>163 million data records<\/strong> exchanged through the National Electronic Integration Platform. Over <strong>90 digital community consultations<\/strong> were also conducted to further engage citizens in the digital transformation process across Oman.<\/p>\n<p>The National Government Digital Transformation Program operates under the umbrella of the National Digital Economy Program. The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, alongside all government agencies, has developed a comprehensive roadmap and implementation plan covering <strong>2021-2025<\/strong> to achieve a fully digital government focused on principles of governance and the integration of emerging technologies, ultimately delivering a cohesive digital
