Sharqi, located in the Wilayat of Al Hamra. This initiative forms part of the ministry\u2019s ongoing efforts to upgrade vital tourism sites throughout the Sultanate of Oman.<\/p>\n<p>In coordination with the Governor\u2019s Office of al Dakhiliyah Governorate and other relevant authorities, the ministry confirmed that a tender has recently been issued for the construction of the al Jabal al Sharqi Oasis project. Announced in April 2025, this project aims to improve essential public services in alignment with the ministry\u2019s broader tourism development strategies.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the ministry indicated that it is actively collaborating with the Governorate to implement components of the 11th Five-Year Development Plan. These efforts include establishing comprehensive service frameworks designed to support the needs of key tourist locations and landmarks within the governorate, complementing the ministry\u2019s overall tourism growth agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism emphasized its dedication to transforming al Jabal al Sharqi into a premier tourism destination, featuring integrated tourism infrastructure while maintaining a careful balance between tourism development, environmental sustainability, and the preservation of the area\u2019s natural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the ministry called on all relevant stakeholders to expedite the implementation of approved development projects.
