climate. Temperatures in Qairoon Hiriti have dropped to 23\u00b0C, while coastal areas such as Salalah, Taqah, and Sadah are reporting temperatures between 28\u00b0C and 32\u00b0C, according to the latest weather bulletin from the Civil Aviation Authority.<\/p>\n<p>The forecast predicts ongoing scattered rainfall and low cloud cover along the Dhofar coast and its mountainous regions, driven by moderate to strong winds and humidity levels reaching up to 100% in coastal zones. Sea conditions are expected to be rough, particularly along the southern shores.<\/p>\n<p>Dhofar\u2019s distinctive summer microclimate, known as Khareef, is caused by monsoon winds from the Indian Ocean. From late June to early September, this phenomenon transforms the governorate into a lush, green landscape with cool temperatures, mist, and flowing springs, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from Oman and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>The Dhofar Municipality has announced that the 2025 Khareef season will officially commence next week, with an anticipated 10\u201315% increase in visitor numbers compared to last year.
