It is topped by the Omani flag, which measures 25 metres in length and 44 metres in width. This monumental structure is both an engineering marvel and a powerful emblem of Oman\u2019s vision and progress.<\/p>\n<p>Surrounding the flagpole are more than 9,000 square metres of green spaces, alongside dedicated walking and cycling paths covering over 435 square metres, making Al Khuwair Square a prime location for leisure, recreation, and outdoor sports.<\/p>\n<p>The project represents a successful public-private partnership between Muscat Municipality and Jindal Shadeed Iron &#038; Steel LLC, designed to serve the local community. Abdullah Al Numani, a bank employee who visited shortly after the inauguration, remarked, \u201cThe flagpole is a tribute to Oman\u2019s vision and growth.
