controlling stake in Agribrasil, a leading Brazilian grain exporter, by ME Solaris Commodities Holding (Solaris). Solaris is a company predominantly owned by the Sultanate of Oman\u2019s sovereign wealth fund.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement, finalized on July 28, 2025, involves acquiring a controlling interest in Humberg Agribrasil Com\u00e9rcio e Exporta\u00e7\u00e3o de Gr\u00e3os SA (Agribrasil) and the Santa Catarina grain terminal (TESC). Additionally, Solaris has signed separate agreements to purchase further minority stakes in TESC. Pending regulatory approval, the deal is expected to be completed by the year\u2019s end.<\/p>\n<p>Agribrasil described Solaris in an official statement as one of the world\u2019s top five wheat traders and a major player in the global agricultural commodities market. The company\u2019s net income surged by 302%, reaching BRL 1.361 billion. Corn and soybeans comprise the bulk of its exports, with 97% of sales destined for international markets.
