impressive <strong>306.87% growth<\/strong> and underscoring a swift acceleration in economic engagement.<\/p>\n<p>Muscat and South Al Batinah Governorates led in business registrations, with Muscat recording <strong>6,739 registrations<\/strong> and South Al Batinah <strong>1,171<\/strong>, representing a <strong>70.2% increase<\/strong>. The Ministry noted that foreign investment played a significant role, contributing <strong>3,783 registrations<\/strong>, with Muscat alone accounting for <strong>86.2%<\/strong> of these licenses.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry also observed a rise in the cancellation of commercial registrations, totaling <strong>12,218<\/strong> compared to <strong>3,963<\/strong> in the same quarter of 2024\u2014a rise of over <strong>208.3%<\/strong>. Muscat Governorate again topped this count with <strong>4,006 cancellations<\/strong>, followed by North Al Batinah and <a href=\"https:\/\/omanet.om\/en\/resources\/dhofar-governorate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Dhofar\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"42\">Dhofar<\/a> Governorates.<\/p>\n<p>Mubarak bin Mohammed al Dohani, Director General of Planning at the Ministry, emphasized that these figures reflect the resilience and vitality of Oman\u2019s economic landscape, supported by adaptive regulatory frameworks and advanced digital infrastructure.
