Kuwait had the highest overall inflation at <strong>2.9%<\/strong>, with both Saudi Arabia and the UAE at <strong>1.7%<\/strong> each. Qatar recorded an inflation rate of <strong>1.3%<\/strong>, Bahrain at <strong>0.9%<\/strong>, and Oman at <strong>0.6%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Historically, the inflation rate in the GCC has varied significantly; it was <strong>1.7%<\/strong> in 2020, rose to <strong>2.4%<\/strong> in 2021, peaked at <strong>3.1%<\/strong> in 2022, and then fell to <strong>2.2%<\/strong> in 2023 before returning to <strong>1.7%<\/strong> in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The report suggests that this stabilization reflects the effectiveness of economic policies adopted by GCC governments to manage inflationary pressures.
