Meanwhile, Muscat Governorate saw a <strong>5.5 percent<\/strong> rise, attaining <strong>116.7 gigawatt-hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the North and South A\u2019Sharqiyah Governorates, production totaled <strong>3,831.7 gigawatt-hours<\/strong>, reflecting a <strong>4.1 percent<\/strong> increase. The combined production in North and South Al Batinah and Ad Dhahirah Governorates was approximately <strong>10,501.6 gigawatt-hours<\/strong>, marking a <strong>1.3 percent<\/strong> growth compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/omanet.om\/en\/resources\/dhofar-governorate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Dhofar\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"49\">Dhofar<\/a> Governorate reported a <strong>4 percent<\/strong> decline in production, totaling <strong>2,281.5 gigawatt-hours<\/strong>. Similarly, Al Wusta Governorate experienced a slight decrease of <strong>0.7 percent<\/strong>, reaching <strong>60.4 gigawatt-hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, statistics indicated that Oman&#8217;s net electricity production\u2014which includes purchases by the Oman Power and Water Procurement Company and the Rural Areas Electricity Company\u2014rose by <strong>13.1
