amendments to the Executive Regulations of the Civil Status Law, announced by Lieutenant General Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs.<\/p>\n<p>According to Decision No. 78\/2025, published in Official Gazette Issue 1608, expatriate resident cards will now offer three validity options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>One year<\/strong> \u2014 issuance\/renewal fee of OMR 5<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two years<\/strong> \u2014 issuance\/renewal fee of OMR 10<\/li>\n<li><strong>Three years<\/strong> \u2014 issuance\/renewal fee of OMR 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cardholders are required to renew their resident cards within 30 days of expiration to maintain compliance with regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the decision increases the validity period of the national ID card for Omanis from five years to ten years, with issuance and renewal fees set at OMR 10. This fee also applies for replacements of lost or damaged cards.<\/p>\n<p>The last amendment to the Executive Regulations occurred in 2021, which introduced a new category permitting the issuance of
