The <strong>28-day bills<\/strong> accounted for <strong>RO 5 million<\/strong>, with an average accepted price of <strong>RO 99.700<\/strong> per <strong>RO 100<\/strong>. These bills feature an average discount rate of <strong>3.91071%<\/strong> and an average yield of <strong>3.92248%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>91-day bills<\/strong>, valued at <strong>RO 2.5 million<\/strong>, achieved an average accepted price of <strong>RO 98.944<\/strong> and a minimum accepted price of <strong>RO 98.940<\/strong> per <strong>RO 100<\/strong>. Their average discount rate is <strong>4.23560%<\/strong>, and the average yield stands at <strong>4.28081%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The bulk of the allocation was in <strong>182-day bills<\/strong>, totaling <strong>RO 21 million<\/strong>. These bills had an average accepted price of <strong>RO 97.926<\/strong> and a minimum accepted price of <strong>RO 97.925<\/strong> per <strong>RO 100<\/strong>. They carried an average discount rate of <strong>4.15901%<\/strong> and an average yield of <strong>4.24709%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The CBO indicated that the interest rate on repo operations related to these bills is set at <strong>5.00%<\/strong>, while the discount rate for treasury bills with the Central Bank is <strong>5.50%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Treasury bills are short-term, government-backed financial instruments issued by the Ministry of Finance. They are managed by the CBO and provide secure investment opportunities for licensed commercial banks.
