Their designs respect the region\u2019s geographical character, while providing integrated service facilities that foster local investment and support domestic tourism growth.<\/p>\n<p>The combined investment in the two projects totals nearly RO 4 million. Facilities cater to diverse age groups and include green spaces, an open-air theatre, caf\u00e9s, sports fields, water fountains, walking paths, barbecue areas, prayer facilities, and additional amenities.<\/p>\n<p>Eng. Nasser bin Ali al Siyabi, Director General of Al Dhahirah Municipality, highlighted that these projects aim to deliver advanced municipal services and modern infrastructure by leveraging technology and smart applications. This initiative enhances quality of life, promotes community well-being, and supports economic growth alongside local investment.<\/p>\n<p>He further emphasized that these projects align with the government\u2019s vision to improve service efficiency and enhance competitiveness locally, regionally, and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>The municipality is also preparing a new project designed to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and empower productive families. By providing an enabling environment with integrated facilities, the initiative seeks to strengthen the economic and social development of Al Dhahirah Governorate.<\/p>\n<p>Eng. Shaikha bint Ahmed al Wahshiyah, Supervisor of the Dhank View Project, described the initiative as one of Al Dhahirah Municipality\u2019s pioneering tourism and development efforts. Strategically located near the main road linking Ibri and Hafeet, the project offers a distinctive viewpoint that enhances the governorate\u2019s tourism and economic appeal. It delivers a holistic environment that meets the needs of residents and visitors alike.<\/p>\n<p>Covering 65,000 square meters, the Dhank project features a public promenade, open amphitheater, children\u2019s play areas, swimming pool, water fountains, food kiosks, parking spaces, a reception building, and pedestrian walkways. With a total budget of RO 2,128,790, the project is approximately 40% complete and is expected to be finalized within a year of commencement.<\/p>\n<p>This development is anticipated to stimulate commercial activity, increase property values, and boost the local economy by supporting SMEs. It will also generate both direct and indirect employment opportunities, reinforcing sustainable development foundations in Dhank.<\/p>\n<p>Eng. Badr bin Khalifa al Shukeili, Supervisor of the Yanqul View Project, reported that this project, situated on the road connecting Yanqul and Suhar, is 35% complete and slated for completion early next year.
