1,006,635 during the same period in 2024, according to preliminary data released by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).<\/p>\n<p>The data revealed that Omani visitors made up the majority, rising by 71.5 percent to 734,225. Visitors from GCC countries numbered 179,246, while those from other nationalities accounted for 113,784.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding modes of arrival, 251,064 visitors traveled to Dhofar by air by the end of August 2025, while 776,191 entered via the land border, reflecting a 1.3 percent decrease compared to land arrivals by the end of August 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Further statistics indicated that 585,155
