This initiative positions Oman as a dependable regional supplier of this vital industrial mineral.<\/p>\n<p>MDO&#8217;s strategic approach includes fostering partnerships with the private sector, harnessing national mineral resources, and promoting value chain integration. Future developments will involve establishing a primary silica processing facility to improve product quality and attract high-tech industries, including semiconductors, glass manufacturing, chemical processing, and metallurgical applications. MDO will act as the resource owner and overall project supervisor.
