He noted, \u201cThis summit comes at a pivotal moment. Despite some headwinds, the global energy transition continues at a rapid pace, with hydrogen playing a crucial role by linking renewable energy generation, industrial innovation, climate ambitions, and new economic opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commending Oman\u2019s dedication to green hydrogen, Farnaud stated, \u201cOman has established itself as a leading and forward-thinking actor in this arena. Through its National Hydrogen Strategy, the creation of Hydrom, and its goal to produce over 1 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually by 2030\u2014supported by tens of billions of dollars in planned investment\u2014Oman is clearly signaling its readiness to lead the sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cCombining Oman\u2019s extensive renewable energy potential with Europe\u2019s technological expertise and increasing demand for clean molecules presents a real opportunity for partnership. This collaboration can harness our strengths, build long-term resilience, and shape the emerging global hydrogen economy. Beyond technology, our cooperation aims to build ecosystems that link research, policy, skills, and industry to foster sustainable growth.
